MUSIC AS RITUAL

Bridging Indian classical music, sacred chants, nada yoga, and contemporary culture. Trained in the South Indian Carnatic tradition, their voices carry centuries of musical lineage—yet their approach is unmistakably of this moment: honest and emotionally resonant.
Raised in Singapore and educated at Berklee College of Music, they began singing as a form of healing during a period of chronic pain and nervous system sensitivity. What began as a private ritual has since evolved into a shared experience—offered with clarity and reverence.

Pandora & SiriusXM

In May 2025, The Bala Boys partnered with Pandora and SiriusXM to release OM & AFFIRMATIONS, their debut meditation EP. The launch was honored with a weeklong Times Square billboard campaign, coinciding with World Meditation Day and Mental Health Awareness Month.
Throughout the month, they served as the face of Pandora’s Meditation Radio—curating the station for one of the most listened-to wellness channels in the U.S.

The Chopra Foundation

Invited by Dr. Deepak Chopra to present their music at the 2024 Sages & Scientists Symposium at Harvard, The Bala Boys performed their original raaga-based sound experiences. Their relationship with The Chopra Foundation continues as part of a shared vision to integrate ancestral music with modern wellness, neuroscience, and contemplative culture.

Live Experiences

The Bala Boys have brought their immersive sonic work to Fortune 500 companies, art galleries, bespoke performance spaces, and yoga studios across Los Angeles and New York City. Each experience is crafted with deep intention and a sensitivity to space, energy, and audience.

Upcoming

In August 2025, they will begin recording their debut studio album — an offering that brings mantra chanting into conversation with contemporary production, featuring a small group of highly acclaimed collaborators and creative visionaries.
